Doesn't every little girl dream of being in their own fairytale? Well let your little princess live her dream this summer at Dance With Miranda in Westville, Oklahoma.

The dance camp consists of three days, 10:00 AM- 12:30, June 30th, July 1st, and July 2nd. Each day will be fun-filled with dancing, crafts, games, and more. On the final day of camp there will be a fifteen minute show for all friends and family to see what their little princesses learned!

Another exciting thing about this camp is the price! This is cheapest dance camp DWM has ever offered...You get all three days for only $30!

Tremaine Dance Conventions

I would love for some DWM dancers to attend the Tremaine Dance Convention on March 27-28 in Tulsa at the Renaissance Hotel. We have to have four dancers in order to go. Tuition has to be paid one month in advance. Costs are as follows:
Observers $40
Juniors Age 6-10 $155
Teens 11-13 $180
Seniors 14-Up $180
Assistants $225

You can stay in any hotel of your choice. The rate to stay in the Renaissance is $129 per night if you mention Tremaine Dance.

New Weekend Competition Schedule

The schedule as follows will be in effect starting this weekend until our competition, the weekend of Valentine's Day. These practices are all MANDATORY.

Saturdays:
10-10:45 (Paris Holds the Key)
10:45: Kyler solo run through
10:45-11:15: Sierra Solo

Sunday:
1:30 Annalee Solo
2:00 Whitney/Brummett
2:30 Whitney/Kenlea
3:00 Kenlea Solo

PYT will continue to practice Tuesdays after competition class.

Full Dress Rehearsal for all numbers will be the Saturday before competition.

No Dance-Inclement Weather

There will be no dance tonight due to the cold weather.

Our inclement weather policy is as follows: if Westville Schools cancels for weather, then we will too.

I have some exciting news! At enrollment this year, not only can you order your shoes, but we also have a small collection of dancewear for you to shop through! We are also offering custom DWM leotards that come in a variety of colors, and will be embroidered with the DWM logo, and name of the dancer. The leotards look like the picture the the left, and comes in black, pink, light blue, forest green, burgundy, and lavender. These will only be available to order at Open Enrollment, so make sure to get yours!

Also, DWM is in partnership with a couple of dancewear's hottest suppliers. If you would like to shop there on your own, please follow these links to support our studio!

Open Enrollment at the New Studio!

We finally have a date set for our 2009-2010 enrollment! It will be Saturday, August 15th from 10:00-12:30. We may stay later than that if people are still showing up! Not only can you enroll on this day (and take a peek at the new studio), but you can order leotards, car decals, and shop from some new dance clothes right there in the studio!

Assistant's Stockings

We are doing Assistant Stockings again this year. We have four young ladies that volunteer their time to help me teach your classes, and during Christmas time I will hang up stockings for them. Please feel free to put little treats, candy, etc. in their stockings to show these ladies how much we appreciate them! They are Miss Melinda, Miss Kaitlin, Miss Whitney, and Miss Kenlea.

Costume Ordering Time

Sorry I haven't updated the blog in a while! It's that time of year again...time to order costumes! All costume money is due before we leave for Christmas Break. The website has pictures of all of the costumes. The price of each costumes includes all tights and accessories you will need. The only other recital charges will be a $10 per student recital fee in May, and a t-shirt around $15 in March.
